This last week, I was fortunate to make a trip down to Houston Texas to visit a client. The weather was warm and sunny, very different from the West Coast of Vancouver Canada. It was a nice break from the rain actually. I love the foods in Houston and the people were friendly and polite in their Southern charm kind of way. There were some stereotypical things like every where I went I could hear country music and smell of BBQ sauce and smoke as soon as I stepped out of my hotel. I enjoyed my break so much and look forward to return and meet my charming client, Anne, who is as sharp as a whip.
However, landing in YVR was a feeling of peace and comfort, the kind you feel when you reach your door step at home. And no matter where I go in the world, I always love coming home. I tend to think of it as the love of my life, so familiar, so comforting and so happy.
Greetings from the West Coast.
