Saturday, July 12th was the big day for the run for BC Cancer Foundation. I've been a part of several runs in the last 2 years all dedicated to charitable causes but this was my first time participating in the Underwear Affair run so I didn't know what to expect. This crowd is different. Their spirit and enthusiasm to help raise awareness for cancer below the waiste is over the top. Our small but enthusiastic team, called the G-String, managed to raise approximately $5,000 for the Foundation. We just want to thank all our friends and supporters and we hope that you can participate next year. It is not only for a great cause but it helps you more conscious of your own physical fitness. Though the run was agonizing for the first 15 minutes :), the entire run was great and I felt a great accomplishment afterwards. You may sign up for next year's run by visiting uncoverthecure.org.
