Is there a Natural Procedure to a Facelift? Apparently, yes!

As I mentioned in previous posts, in March I attended a Natural Beauty seminar with Dr. Cindy Quach where I learnt various nutritional methods to achieving great skin, shiny hair and nails. There I also learnt of Cosmetic Acupuncture. Based on the principles of Chinese Medicine, acupuncture has been around for thousands of years where energy points throughout the body are stimulated by tiny disposable needles to treat many illnesses. Today, acupuncture technique is being used in place of plastic surgery to take 5 to 10 years from one's face. I'm not yet at the age to have to worry about wrinkles but this procedure interests me due to the additional benefits below:
  • Relaxes muscle tone
  • Increases circulation, therefore oxygenates the skin
  • Increases collagen production
  • Tightens the pores, and brightens the eyes
  • Keeps acne skin under control
  • Nourshes the skin, giving you a healthy complexion with a natural glow
  • Moisturizes the skin from inside, and gives you rosy cheeks and brighter complexion

Visit your nearest health and beauty spa and ask for more information on cosmetic accupuncture. If you happen to take the plunge and undergo the procedure please come back and provide us with your feedback. I will certainly try it out myself and will report back my results.

Happy Summer!
