Beauty at any Age

I rarely watch TV these days, mostly due to my work schedule and the many things I pursue outside of work that don't allow me much time to enjoy the late night TV shows I used to love, like the Simpsons, Jay Leno, What not to Wear...etc. The other day I was at my parents for dinner and I accidentally caught a glimpse of one of the sexiest actresses as she made her way down the streets of Vancouver and was caught on film by the crew of a local TV show. All I could hear from the crew was "You're so beautiful!".

At the age of 67, Rachel Welch tops my list of one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, next to Sophia Loren. She managed to maintain a great posture and figure at her age, and she looks fantastic overall! It is one thing to be beautiful in your 20s or 30s because most likely you have been blessed by your parent's good genes, but to maintain that natural beauty into your 60s, that takes work! By "work" I don't mean plastic surgeries that give some people a permanent "surprised" look on their face, or lips that look like they were stung by bees, but I mean keeping a healthy diet and active exercise schedule as part of their lifestyle. I'm not against plastic surgeries, if done in moderation or due to health concerns. To me the key to total beauty is a healthy mind and body.

In 1984, Ms. Welch released "The Raquel Welch Total Beauty and Fitness Program" which I will surely check out. If I look half as good as she does now when I'm in my 60s, it will be all worth it ;)
